I have paid into LTC insurance for 25 years. The coverage allowed my husband to be cared for at home. I continue paying 122.00 a month at 80 with the expectation that I will use it for my care if needed. For a middle class person I do want to leave something for the next generation It seems a responsible route to me. Without some system the idea of creating generational wealth is hollow indeed.
